c1831 Born the son of James Allcard (1796-1867), a builder, and his wife Dinah Hobson (1796-1864)

1851 Living at Hanover Street, Broomhall, Sheffield: James Allcard (age 62 born Isleford, Derby.), Builder. With his wife Dinah Allcard (age 53 born Owleton, Yks.) and their sons Henry Allcard (age 32 born Sheffield), Builders son and James Allcard (age 21 born Sheffield), Builders son. One servant.[1]

1858 August 11th. Married at Dronfield to Eunice Sarah Booker

1861 Living at Parkers Road,Nether Hallam, Sheffield: James Hobson Allcard (age 31 born Sheffield), Engineers Tool Maker. With his wife Eunice Sarah Allcard (age 31 born Chesterfield) and their children Mary Eunice Allcard (age 1 born Sheffield) and Charles William Booker Allcard (age 2 months born Sheffield). Also a nurse and a servant.[2]

1871 Living at brown Villa, Eccleshall, Sheffield: James H. Allcard (age 41 born Sheffield), Engineers Tool manufacturer. With his wife Eunice S.
