1910 Won a gold medal at the Brussels Exhibition for its aerated beverage[2]

1920 Limited liability company

1922 Arrangement made with Archibald Arrol and Sons to undertake the brewing for both companies

1947 Public company incorporated; also owned 5 subsidiary companies in hotel, in the wine and spirit, and in bottling and aerated water businesses. Had recently acquired the Greenhead Brewery and Plant in Glasgow, to expand brewing capacity if needed, and also the premises of Calders (Newcastle) Ltd.

1960 Acquired by United Breweries
