1965 Obituary[1]

"We regret to announce the death on August 8 of Mr. J. E. Mills, A.M.I.Gas E., London Manager, West's (Manchester) Ltd. since November 1963. Mr. Mills, who was fifty-four joined West's in 1927 and had wide experience of the installation and operation of the Company's gas plants at home and on the Continent. He was in Denmark on company business when the Germans invaded in 1940 and was interned until the end of the war. Since the war he had been in the London area as district engineer, assistant manager, and latterly as manager."
