Whisky distillers, Lochindaal Distillery, Islay

1895 J. B. Sheriff and Company Limited was incorporated, with capital of £100,000, to acquire and conduct the businesses of J. B. Sheriff and Company, distillers at Lochindaal, Islay, and of William Taylor and Company, distillers at Lochhead, Campbeltown.[1]

1920 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[2] The Lochhead and Lochindaal distilleries subsequently passed into the hands of Benmore Distilleries.
