Henry Ritchie (c1859-1917), founder of Clyde shipbuilding firm, Ritchie, Graham and Milne.

Started career with Lobnitz and Co. [1]

1884 He went to lndia.[2]

1887 He returned to Glasgow keen to continue shipbuilding at home.[3]

1891 Joined with John Graham and William Milne from the firm Alley and MacLellan at Craighton Road, Govan.[4]

1895 Moved to Whiteinch.[5]

Henry's brother, William Ritchie became a partner on the retirement of Graham and Milne.[6]

Henry's trained three sons at his shipyard.[7]

1917 Died aged 59.[8]
