1844 'HEDGES and BUTLER have to inform the public that they can now be supplied with pure Rhine, Moselle, and Bordeaux Wines'[1]

1889 Partnership change. '... the Partnership lately subsisting between us the undersigned, James William Butler, Frank Hedges Butler, Samuel Butler, and Harry Butler, carrying on business as Wine Merchants, at 155, Regent-street, in the city of Westminster, 30, King's-road, Brighton, and the Arcade,-Bournemouth, under the style or firm of Hedges and Butler, has this day been dissolved, by mutual consent, so far as regards the said Harry Butler, who retires from the firm. All debts due to or owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said James William Butler, Frank Hedges Butler, and Samuel Butler, who will continue the said business under the present style or firm of Hedges and Butler...'[2]
