Sir Harry Jepcott (1891–1978) of Glaxo

1891 January 15th. Born at Tardebigge, near Redditch, Worcestershire, youngest of the five children and three sons of John Josiah Jephcott (1853–1929), train driver and former miner, and his wife, Helen (1849–1930), daughter of Charles Matthews.

Educated at King Edward VI Grammar School, Camp Hill, Birmingham

1907 Apprenticed to a pharmacist at Redditch.
