1934 'Mr. Harold Karslake (of Broxtowe Hall, Nottingham), foundation member of the Association of Pioneer Motor Cyclists and formerly works manager of the late Mr. W. E. Brough'[2]
1936 'Mr. Harold Karslake has been appointed president of the newly-formed Nottingham Tourists Motor Club. Mr. Karslake has been interested in motoring 1898, and as a trial rider has won 268 gold medals and over 30 cups, including the Jarrott 100 guineas cup which he won outright in 1912.'[3]
1954 London-Edinburgh Trial. 'Also competing 74-year-old Harold Karslake, Nottingham, runner-up in 1910 and 1912.'[4]
1962 January 5th. Died, of 1 Broxtowe Rise, Nottingham. Probate to his widow Jessie Smith McMahon Karslake.
