1904 KIRK, H. R., Castle Grove, Headingley, Leeds. Cars: 7 h.p. and 16 h.p. Panhards, 12 h.p. Gladiator, 24 h.p. de Dietrich, 35 h.p. Napier. Has driven 50,000 miles. Was originally the owner of a hackney stud farm, but after acquiring his first car sold all his horses. Entered his Napier car for the Gordon Bennett race, the car being driven by Mr. Charles Jarrott, who retired through an accident. Also entered his Napier car for the Paris-Madrid race.
