1895 June 10th. Born at Smethwick the son of Joseph Lones, a Public Analyst and metallurgist.

1911 Living at 41 Vicarage Road, Smethwick with his parents and a sister.[1]

19039 Living at By Fleet Newport Road, Magor and St Mellons, Monmouthshire, Clive Lones, Electrical Power Engineer. Also Nellie L. Lones (born 1897) and Betha Lones (Born 1932) and later became Bertha Dunlop.[2]
