1874 The company was registered on 13 July. [1]

1879 Incorporated as a Limited Company

1914 Producers of Big Vein Malting Coal, also for Lime Burning, Hop Drying, Horticultural and House purposes.

1916 H. Seymour Berry negotiated the purchase of the Gwaun-Cae-Gurwen Colliery Co for Lord Rhondda; his Aberdare contact, David Richard Llewellyn was made chairman of the company.

1928 Acquired by Amalgamated Anthracite Collieries[2]
