GUILLERMO FEDERICO JORGE DOMINICO, born on the 4th March, 1857, died in Buenos Ayres on the 15th February, 1912.

Educated in Germany, he commenced his engineering career in 1883 in the service of the Argentine Government. He was successively in charge of harbour works at Rosario, constructed to his designs, surveys of the River Plate, and Buenos Ayres harbour works.

In 1890 he was appointed Inspector General of the National Railways. The Chilecito-Famatina ropeway was amongst his more notable works.

Mr. Dominico was elected a Member of The Institution on the 4th December, 1894.
