Grand Hotel, Aberdeen

1892 The hotel was built to a high specification and became Aberdeen's leading hotel.
1918 A private limited company was incorporated, with capital of £35,000, The Grand Hotel (Aberdeen) Limited, to acquire the property of the Grand Hotel, Aberdeen and to carry on the business.[1]
1930 The company went into voluntary liquidation. The building was bought by a consortium of local businessmen and subsequently became the Caledonian Hotel
