1965 Obituary[1]

"We announce with regret the death in Turin on September 2nd, of Dr. Gino Pestelli, head of Fiat's Press and publicity department, and member of the Fiat executive committee. Dr. Pestelli was born in Florence and took a degree in economics before entering the world of journalism. He was decorated while serving during the First World War. He was joint editor of La Stampa for twenty years before being invited by Senator Agnelli, the founder of Fiat, to join the company in 1929 to set up the Press, publicity, and public relations departments. His contribution to the company' development, particularly on the automobile side, was considerable."
