1905 Company incorporated

WWI Bought Morley Hall, Hackney, during the First World War. [1]

1919 Company incorporated under similar name to acquire the previous business of London and Basingstoke, wholesale clothiers and manufacturers.

1932 Built the adjoining Carlington works.

1946 Pockets for garments. [2]

1947 Listed Exhibitor - British Industries Fair. Manufacturers of "Carlington" Overcoats, Suits, Sportswear and "Wim'bell'don" Flannels for Men and Youths. (Earls Court, Stand No. 371) [3]

c1962 The company remained in Hackney until about 1962.

1982 An EGM was held in Shipley

1984 The auditors were not re-appointed (did this indicate a take-over of the company?)

1992 An EGM held in Leeds agreed to rename the company Benjamin Simon and Sons
