George Henry Smith (1897- ) of Halifax Motor Co

1897 October 31st. Born in Halifax

Educated at Rishworth Grammar School; Clark's College, Leeds. Trained with Halifax Motor Co. in workshop. Served in R.F.C. and R.A.F. and as Sergeant Fitter with Royal Canadian Air Force in Toronto. Became lecturer at Huddersfield Technical College; Service Manager in 1924 with Halifax Motor Co. Ltd.

1953 Automobile Engineer and Lecturer. Private Address: 53, The Gardens, Heath Road, Halifax, Yorks.
