George Heaton Daglish (1839-1913) of Robert Daglish and Co
1839 August 31st. Born the son of George Daglish, Surgeon, and his wife Ann

1865 December 5th. Married at Grassendale to Julia the daughter of John Grant Morris.

With his wife Julia Daglish (age 65 born Grassendale, Lancs.) and their two sons; George Grant Daglish (age 44 born Grassendale, Lancs.), Marine Engineer - Manager at Cammell, Laird and Co; John Grand Monis Daglish (age 37 born Grassendale, Lancs.). Married 45 years with five children. Six servants.[2]
1913 July 12th. Died at Liverpool. Of Rock Mount, St. Annes Road, Aigburth.

GEORGE HEATON DAGLISH, born at Southport on the 31st August, 1839, died at Liverpool on the 12th July, 1913.
Having served his apprenticeship with Hick, Hargreaves and Co, of Bolton, he eventually became a member of the firm of Robert Daglish and Co, engineers and founders, of St. Helens, of which his uncle was senior partner.
From 1866 until his retirement in 1882, he was responsible for the design and manufacture of colliery machinery, gold-mining stamps and chemical plants.
Mr. Daglish was elected a Member of The Institution on the 2nd May, 1876.
