1920. Engagement of GEORGE BENTLEY DACRE, D.S.O;, R.A.F., second son of Mr. and Mrs. John Dacre, Eaton Crescent, Clifton, and Miss ELIZABETH FRANCES FRASER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Fraser, Johannesburg, South Africa, and niece of Mrs. Capper Pass, of Charmouth, Dorset. [1]

1962. Air Commodore George Bentley Dacre C.B.E., D.S.O. who died in 1962 aged 70. He served his country in two world wars and his county as Deputy Lieutenant of Sussex, High Sheriff, Vice-Chairman of the Territorial Forces Association and County President of the British Legion[2]
