Managing Director, Premier Motor Policies, Company specialises in Motor Insurance and has 20 provincial branch offices; member of the Main Committee of the R.A.C. and has served on other committees including the Standing Joint Committee of the R.A.C., A.A., and R.S.A.C.; represented that committee on the Ministry of Transport Road Safety Committee for some years; served for 24 years on the Committee of the Motor and Cycle Trades Benevolent Fund; Hon. General Treasurer of the British Automobile Racing Club formerly the Junior Car Club) since 1919; Hon. Secretary and Treasurer of the Order of the Road, which he founded jointly with A. P. Bradley; member of the Court of the Worshipful Company of Coachmakers and Coach-Harness Makers.
