This would thereby effect economies of operation. British Electric Traction Co would take its supplies from the Electrical Power Distribution Cowherever possible[1].

1903 British Electric Traction acquired the undertaking of the Electrical Power Distribution Co which had been set up in 1898 by British Electric Traction Co and Brush Electrical Engineering Co.
