1801 Partnership change. '...the Partnership carried on in Lancaster, in the County of Lancaster, between Robert Tomlinson and Thomas Heaton, both of Lancaster aforesaid, Ironmongers and Whitesmiths, under the Firm of Tomlinson and Heaton, and the Partnership carried on at Gate-Beck, in the County of Westmorland, by the said Robert Tomlinson and Thomas Heaton, and Edward Winder, of Gate-Beck aforesaid, Ironfounder, under the Firm of Edward Winder and Company, were respectively dissolved on the 27th Day of May 1799, by the Decease of the said Robert-Tomlinson. Such Businesses will in future be carried on in Lancaster aforesaid by the said Thomas Heaton, the surviving Partner of Tomlinson and Heaton, in his own Name, and at Gate-Beck aforesaid by the said Edward Winder and Thomas Heaton, the surviving Partners of Edward Winder and Company, under the Firm of Winder and Heaton. . . .
