1880 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, Charles Powis, John Henry Carter, and Edward Russell Morris, at the Cyclops Works, Millwall, in the county of Middlesex, and No. 60, Gracechurch-street, in the city of London, as Mechanical Engineers and Merchants, under the style or firm of Charles Powis, Carter, and Morris, has been this day dissolved, in so far as the said Edward Russell Morris is concerned, by mutual consent. All debts due to or by the said firm will be received and discharged by the said Charles Powis and John Henry Carter, by whom in future the said business will be carried on...'[1]
