EDWARD HENRY TYLER, born at Dinder, Somerset, on the 13th November, 1862, died at Southampton on the 6th December, 1911.

After acting as assistant engineer to the River Plate Electricity Company, he joined the Brush Electrical Engineering Company and carried out works on their behalf in Spain and Brazil.

In 1902 he was appointed to organize the electrical work for the Kolar goldfields in India. Subsequently he engaged in consulting work, being associated with large schemes in South America and Uganda.

Mr. Tyler was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 5th May, 1896.
