1822 Born in Dowlais, the son of Cornelius Guest, and his wife Frances Carpenter

1841 Living at Church Vale, West Bromwich: Cornelius Guest (age c40), Iron Foundry. With his wife Fanny Guest (age c40) and their nine children; Edward Guest (age 19); Mary Guest (age 17); Caroline Guest (age 15); Cornelius Guest (age 13); James Guest (age 11); Henry Guest (age 9); Fanny Guest (age 7); John Guest (age 5); and Walter Guest (age 8 Months).[1]

1851 Living at Old Meeting Street, West Bromwich. Edward Guest (age 28 born Dowlais), Foundry Manager. With his wife Emma and their two children. Also his sister Fanny Guest (age 16 born Bilston) and his brother Josiah Guest (age 14 born Bilston). One visitor.[2]

1875 May 15th. Died. Ironfounder of West Bromwich. Probate to his widow Emma Guest.
