EDWARD CROWE, of Saltburn, died in June 1924, at the age of sixty-three.

He was born in Middlesbrough, and entered the engineering profession and became connected with the firm of Davy Bros., Sheffield.

For the last twenty years he acted as consulting engineer for the South Durham Steel and Iron Co. and the Cargo Fleet Iron Co., and was a prominent figure in Tees-side industrial circles.

He was a Past-President of the Cleveland Institution of Engineers, and was, elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1903.
