The death occurred last week of Mr. Edward Chapman, deputy-chairman of the Great Central Railway Co. On leaving his room about nine o'clock in the morning, he was seized with a fainting fit at the top of a staircase and fell to the bottom. Medical aid was immediately summoned, but he never recovered consciousness.
