  • 1930s Ebbels was first introduced by Brigadier and Mrs Ebbels. When unable to find quality placemats and coasters, they decided to start manufacturing their own in the City of London.
  • 1947 Listed Exhibitor - British Industries Fair. Manufacturers of Highly Lacquered Decorative Fancy Goods including Trays, Table Mats, Beauty Boxes, Work Boxes, Folding Tables, etc., all Articles are Hand Decorated and are Mounted with Valuable Old or Modern Prints.   • The factory moved from London to Somerset and then to Devon.
