c. 1910 Company founded by Edward Norman Mackley. Supplied main shaft pumps to collieries, originally reciprocating pumps, later centrifugal pumps.

For much of its life the company was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Clarke, Chapman and Co[1]

Later developed pumps for a range of industries; also developed other products for mines, such as fluorescent lighting and conveyor systems.

1977 Company closed
