1966 Obituary[1]

"We regret to record the death, on September 9, of Mr. E. K. Wood, manager of the Cardiff branch office of The English Electric Company Ltd. Mr. Wood, who was 51, was educated at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Cumberland, and Faraday House. He first joined English Electric as a student apprentice at Stafford in 1937. Two years later he became marine liaison engineer in the Stafford Special Engineering Department of the company, and in 1945 he went to the U.S.A. as senior resident engineer. Mr. Wood joined the company's Cardiff branch in 1947 as senior assistant sales engineer, and four years later was appointed manager."
