E. A. Haworth PhD, MSc, BScTech, MIProdE, Member, is an industrial engineering consultant. He was educated in mechanical engineering at Manchester University and received his early practical training with the General Engineering Co (Radcliffe) Ltd, and BICC.

From 1961 until 1964 Dr Haworth was an assistant lecturer at the Oldham Municipal Technical College, when he joined TMM (Research) Ltd.

After six years as a research project engineer with UMIST Dr Haworth joined Management Control Systems in 1971 and is now a Director of the Company.
