1974 Don International s.a. of Manage, Belgium was part of the Automotive and Engineering Products division of Cape Industries[1]

1985 BBA acquired Cape's automotive division, with a view to rationalising their part of the British friction materials industry and hopefully return it to profit. This brought together Mintex and Don International as Mintex Don[2]
