Mr Dennis Howell (Associate Member) Works Engineer, Dunlop Rubber Co. at Fort Dunlop, died suddenly on 4th November.

He was one of the original apprentices at Fort Dunlop and after a number of promotions through the Engineering division was appointed Works Engineer in 1955.

Mr Howell, who became a Graduate of the Institution in 1930 later transferring to Associate Member in 1935, will be sadly missed by his many friends and colleagues.
