1902 Business established by Danish Co-operative Bacon Factories. The Danish farmers were able to sell their bacon direct to shopkeepers and thereby save agents' commission; the shopkeepers obtained their bacon first hand; profits were divided amongst Customers in England and Farmers in Denmark.

1912 Registered as a Limited Company

1919 The Danish Bacon and Co-operative Trading Co. Ltd was incorporated to acquire the Danish Bacon Co. Ltd

1981 The Danish Bacon Co. Ltd was re-registered as Danish Bacon Co. public limited company

1990 Acquired 5 subsidiaries including ESS-Food UK Ltd and Danish Viking Foods Co Ltd and 3 dormant companies.

2006 Name changed to DBC Foodservice Ltd
