Cyclops Forge

An article on the new Otto Gas Engine Crossley Brothers works in 'Engineering' magazine, 15th February 1884 states that the works was built on the site of the old Cyclops Forge. The article says that part of the Cyclops works was retained in the new smithy, with two of the Glen and Ross steam hammers being retained.
