We have learned with regret of the death, on January 7th, of Mr. Colin Laycock, president of J. Beardshaw and Son, Ltd., Baltic Steel Works, Sheffield.

Mr. Laycock, who was seventy-three, had been associated with the firm for fifty-eight years. He was appointed a director in 1911, joint managing director in 1916, and chairman and managing director in 1936.
