1951 Company founded by Cyril Frederick Taylor as a sheet metal business.

1957 Mr C. F. Taylor head of C. F. Taylors Ltd of Wokingham.[1]

1967 Acquired by G. and J. Weir which already owned two-thirds of the shares[2]

1978 Electrical and Industrial Securities acquired the aircraft pump subsidiary of Weir Group, C. F. Taylor, which strengthened its aircraft components activities[3]

1979 Name changed to Zwicky Engineering.[4]

1998 Acquired by TI Group; the aircraft galley business was then sold to an American company; the airfame components business was integrated into Dowty Aerospace[5]
