1897 Established by Charles Edward Fulford and later assisted by his brother Frank Harris Fulford

1906 Incorporated as a Limited Company. 'This company has just been registered with capital of £100,000 in £1 shares, to acquire business of a patent medicine manufacturer and dealer, recently carried on by Mr. C. E. Fulford, Greek Street, Leeds, Sydney, Cape Town, Toronto, and elsewhere, as "C. E. Fulford and Co.", the “Hilo Bean Manufacturing Company,” the "Zam-Buk Company," the "Slater Medicine Company," "Biloanes Company," and the "Peps Pastille Company." There will no initial public issue. The first directors are Messrs. S. Hirst, F. Inchbold. F. W. Boyer (all of Leeds), and F. W. N. Jones. The registered office is Greek Street, Leeds'[1]

1914 Manufacturing Chemists, Carlton Hill, Leeds; also Offices in London and Dublin. Directors: F. H. Fulford. (chairman), Stuart Hirst, F. W. Boyer, W. E. Farr, and F. W. Noble-Jones. Colonial Offices: Australia: 39, Pitt Street, Sydney; South Africa: 9, Long Street, Cape Town; Canada: 208. Dupont Street, Toronto. Branches all over the world. Business: Proprietors and manufacturers of several well-known proprietary articles.

1949 'Zamcones, latest product of C. E. Fulford, Ltd. (Zam-Buk) Laboratories, are the last word in piles treatment.'[2]

1950 'Bile Beans. This famous Medically Tested and Approved Tonic Laxative and Digestive Aid is manufactured by C. E. FULFORD (MFG.), LTD. at the Laboratories, Amelia Road, Worthing. HALF A MILLION of the 32 million Bile Beans made every week'[3]

1952 One of the directors is Alfred Wiseman.[4]

1964 Agreement for the company be purchased by Fisons.[5]
