Burnley Aircraft Products Ltd. of Fulledge Works, Burnley. Associated with Renfrew Aircraft and Engineering Co, Renfrew, Ontario, Canada.

1947 was part of Aluminium Castings Co, making domestic electrical appliances. Sales were handled by Universal Boilers and Engineering Co

1951 Re-entered the aircraft industry as part of the jet engine programme[1]

1954 Aircraft business was now larger than domestic appliances.

1959 Established close technical relationship with Soudure Electrique Languepin of France, specialist in welding machinery and design of multi-head machines for welding automotive bodies[2]

Presumably this link-up led to formation of Solar Weld Languepin

1964 Name changed to Burnley Engineering Products[3]
