1900 The company was registered on 28 April, to acquire the business of manufacturers of galvanised sheets etc of the firm of the same name. [1]

1926 Former Chairman, Gordon H. Fraser died on 3rd February following an operation in London.

1951 Nationalised under the Iron and Steel Act; became part of the Iron and Steel Corporation of Great Britain[2]

1956 Taken over by John Summers and Sons at the request of the Holding and Realization Agency[3].

1963 Closed because their hand mills could not compete with modern processes[4].
