1850 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership connexion existing between the undersigned Thomas Samuel Browne and Clement Wilks, of Manchester, in the county of Lancaster, in the profession and business of Civil Engineers and Patent Agents, carried on at Manchester aforesaid, under the firm of Browne and Wilks, was, on the 1st day of January instant, dissolved and put an end to by mutual consent The business will in future be carried on by the said Thomas Samuel Browne...'[1]
