1869 The company was established.

1891 The company absorbed the Railway Rolling Stock Co.[1]

1898 On 10 February, the company was re-registered in connection with an increase of capital under the same title as before. [2]

1901 Railway Wagon Builders. [3]

1911 Smithfield Club Show. Exhibited vans and carts and their 'Victoria' petrol engines. (British Wagon and Carriage Co). [4]

1918 Wagon Repairs founded to acquire the wagon-repairing business of wagon-building firms including the British Wagon Co.

1935 Had an interest in British Railway Traffic and Electric Co[5]

1953 Agricultural and Industrial Hire Purchase. C. F. Lawrence King, M.I.Mech.E. was General Manager.

1968 Acquired Powell Duffryn Wagon Co because of the similarity of business interests[6]

c.1969 Acquired by UDT[7]
