1960 Airline formed by merger of Hunting-Clan and Airwork. Would share with BOAC routes to East and Central Africa; agreement with BEA on London-Gibraltar route[1].

1962 Myles Wyatt was chairman.

1970 BUA was acquired by Caledonian Airways to form British Caledonian Airways; Bristow Helicopters was sold separately.
