1882 Trading suspended. '...A circular was issued on Saturday announcing the suspension of Messrs. Biddulph, Wood, and Jevins, iron and tin-plate merchants, and ironmasters, of Liverpool, also trading as Messrs. Townsend, Wood, and Co., Swansea and Briton Ferry. The liabilities are stated to be about £350,000....'[1]
