1973 Transport and Chemical Engineering acquired Balmforth Engineering of Luton[3].

1973 Sold surplus land at Luton. Had decided to get out of textile machinery so would sell the 80 percent interest in Adamson Machines of Leeds[4]

1984 Supplied library shelving to the University of Exeter[5]
