Construction of Atkinson-Walker Locomotives.

1926-31 Railway locomotives built. [1]

1926 Atkinson bought out the steam wagon portion of The Leyland Steam Wagon Co.[2]

1920s Edward Atkinson of Atkinson Lorries sought help from the mine engineers and lorry makers Walker Brothers of Wigan. Under a new arrangement, Walkers manufactured Uniflow engines for Atkinsons but very few orders were forthcoming.
