ARTHUR WILLIAM HENRY CASSON, born on the 22nd November, 1849, died as the result of an accident at Ealing on the 22nd June, 1912.
He was apprenticed to Messrs. C. & W. Earle, shipbuilders, of Hull, and after a varied experience in the design and construction of ships, bridges, and railways, he became Resident Engineer on the Great Central Railway extensions between Neasden, Northolt and Risborough, afterwards assisting Mr. C. R. W. Chapman, Engineer to the Wembley Council, in connection with street-works and town-planning schemes.
