ARTHUR LUND, born at West Ham on the 3rd September, 1862, died at Bedford on the 16th September, 1916.

Trained under his father, Mr. J. Lund, Borough Engineer of Bedford, he afterwards acted as assistant on water-supply, sewerage, road-construction and other municipal work.

From 1890 to 1902 he filled the office of Deputy Borough Engineer of Bedford, resigning in the latter year to undertake private practice.

Mr. Lund was elected an Associate Member on the 1st December, 1891.
