ARTHUR EWART JONES, born at Chester on the 20th January, 1887, was killed in action at the Dardanelles on the 8th August, 1915.

He was at first employed by the Hydraulic Engineering Company, Chester, transferring his services in 1910 to the London Hydraulic Power Company, where he was engaged on the inspection and supervision of hydraulic machinery until 1915, when he received a temporary commission in the Army.

Mr. Jones was elected an Associate Member on the 12th January, 1915.
