Saurer commercial vehicles were designed and produced in Switzerland and later produced in the UK

1907 Pickfords began importing them

1930 Armstrong Whitworth was licensed to produce the Saurer at its Scotswood-on-Tyne works

1931 First models shown at the Commercial Motor Show

1937 Production ceased.

1942 Armstrong-Saurer Road Vehicle Service was one of the few assets remaining in Armstrong Whitworth Securities Company Ltd before it could be wound up.
