ANDREW LANDALE died at Dunfermline on September 16, 1903, at the age of eighty-seven years. He began life as a colliery manager in the Lothians, and in 1850 went to Fife as manager of the Lochgelly Iron Company's Works, a post he held at the time of his death. He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1872.
